Effective: October 3, 2026

Previous version. Effective October 3, 2026. Replaced October 12, 2026.This is a previous version, kept for reference. It is no longer in effect. Read the current Terms of Service.

Cachet Careers is operated by ULULALA, Inc. ("Cachet," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms govern your use of Cachet Careers, including resume reports, Cici coaching, credit purchases, and promotional reports. Questions may be sent to info@cachetcareers.com.

1. Agreement and eligibility

By affirmatively accepting these Terms when creating an account, requesting a report, or purchasing credits, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not submit content or use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old and a United States resident. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information; accepting these Terms does not enroll you in optional research, public sharing, or marketing.

2. What the Service provides

Cachet compares your resume with a job description and helps you identify and describe relevant experience. Cici uses AI to ask questions about gaps and suggest resume edits based on your answers. The Service is for your personal career preparation. It is not an employer's hiring decision, an employment agency placement service, or an employer's applicant tracking system.

Scores reflect Cachet's assessment of the information provided under its scoring method. They are not a probability of being hired or a certification of your qualifications. A potential score is an estimate that depends on truthful supporting experience and the scoring method; it is not a promised result. Job listings may change or become unavailable, and you should verify them with the employer.

3. AI output and your responsibilities

Reports and suggestions are generated with AI and may contain errors, omissions, or bias. A report is not necessarily reviewed by a person before delivery. Review the output carefully, verify facts, and use your own judgment before applying for a job. Do not add invented skills, credentials, employment, dates, accomplishments, or metrics to a resume. Cachet does not guarantee interviews, offers, employment, salary increases, or any particular score.

4. Accounts and permitted use

Keep your account credentials secure, provide accurate account information, and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize. Do not upload another person's personal information without permission, submit material you lack the right to use, misuse promotional offers, bypass access or payment controls, or interfere with the Service or its security.

Do not use Cachet to rank, screen, or make hiring or other employment decisions about other people. Employer-facing use requires a separate agreement and compliance assessment. Do not submit Social Security numbers, payment card numbers, government identification documents, or unnecessary sensitive personal information in resumes, coaching answers, or support messages.

5. Your content and our service materials

You retain any ownership rights you have in material you submit. You give us a limited, nonexclusive license to host, copy, transmit to our service providers, process, and display that material as needed to deliver, maintain, and secure the services you request. This does not transfer ownership of a third party's job posting or other material to you or to us.

We do not sell your resume content or use it to train AI models without your separate, explicit permission. Optional research and public sharing require the separate permissions described in our Privacy Policy. Cachet's software, branding, and service materials remain ours or our licensors'. You may use the resume suggestions and reports generated for you for your personal career preparation and applications; AI output may not be unique and may not qualify for intellectual property protection.

6. Buying and using credits

Credits pay for features in the Service. Grading a resume against one job description costs 1 credit. Rewrite Mode costs 3 credits for a guided Cici interview that produces suggested resume edits. Loading 25 additional jobs costs 1 credit; that credit is returned if no new jobs are found. Re-grading costs 1 credit after the included first free re-grade. Auto-mode grading costs 1 credit per resume graded. Other actions may also require credits. Before you confirm an action, we show its credit cost; for an auto-mode batch, we show the number of resumes and the total credit cost before you authorize the batch. These charges remain subject to the protections for existing purchased credits in Section 10.

Credit packs are one-time purchases in US dollars. They are not subscriptions, do not renew automatically, and do not authorize future purchases. The checkout page shows the pack, price, applicable taxes, and total before you pay. ULULALA, Inc. is the seller. Stripe processes payments through hosted Checkout; we do not receive or store your full payment card number. By confirming a purchase, you authorize the charge displayed at checkout.

Credits do not expire, and we do not charge inactivity fees. They are for use in your own Cachet account, cannot be sold or transferred, and are not a bank deposit or general-purpose payment product. They are refundable only as described here or as required by law. We use available promotional credits first, followed by purchased credits in the order purchased.

7. Refunds and failed actions

Unused purchased credits. You may request a refund of unused purchased credits. The refund equals the amount you actually paid for those credits, using the price of the pack from which they came. Discounts are allocated evenly across that pack. Any applicable refundable tax is also returned. Refunded credits are removed from your balance. Free or promotional credits have no purchase price and are not redeemable for money.

Completed actions. Credits used for a successfully delivered grade or rewrite are generally nonrefundable. This does not limit remedies for a defective or misdescribed service or other rights provided by law. A lower-than-expected score or lack of an interview does not, by itself, establish that an action failed.

Failed actions. If a technical failure in our Service prevents delivery of a grade or rewrite after credits are deducted, we restore the credits used. Failed grading actions are designed to trigger automatic restoration. If credits are not restored, including after a failed rewrite, contact us so we can correct the balance. Restored paid credits remain eligible for an unused-credit refund. A single failed action receives one restoration; you do not lose your remedy because an automatic correction fails.

Duplicate or missing purchases. We refund an unintended duplicate charge. If payment succeeds but the purchased credits do not arrive, contact us; we will deliver the missing credits or refund the affected purchase. We do not require you to accept additional credits instead of a money refund that is due.

8. Requesting help or a refund

You may request a refund of unused purchased credits through the refund button on your billing page or by emailing info@cachetcareers.com. The billing page shows the calculated refund amount before you submit your request. Once submitted, the credits included in the request are temporarily held and cannot be used while the request is processed. Submission places a request for processing; it does not mean that money has already been refunded.

When a refund is issued, the corresponding credits are removed from your balance. If a request is canceled or declined, we release the held credits unless a separate restriction under these Terms applies, and explain any continuing restriction. A failed refund does not, by itself, extinguish your entitlement to a refund owed under these Terms.

For email requests, include your account email, purchase date, and receipt or transaction reference if available. Do not send your full card number or security code. If you cannot access your account or the billing-page button, you may still request help or a refund by email.

Please contact us promptly so we can investigate. We aim to acknowledge requests within five business days. This target is not a deadline for exercising your rights. Approved money refunds normally go to the original payment method; processing time depends on the payment provider and your bank. If that method is unavailable, we will work with you on a lawful alternative.

9. Payment disputes

You are welcome to contact us before disputing a charge, but you do not have to do so and should not miss your bank's deadlines. While a payment is disputed, we may temporarily restrict use of the credits associated with that payment to avoid duplicate reimbursement. We will explain any restriction and how to contact us. We will not restrict unrelated paid credits or access to privacy requests solely because you dispute a charge. If the dispute resolves in our favor, we restore any remaining eligible restricted credits. If the payment is reversed, the corresponding credits are removed. We do not charge a penalty merely for raising a good-faith dispute.

10. Promotions and changes to credit offers

Free starter credits, promotional credits, and redeem codes may have eligibility rules and redemption limits disclosed with the offer. We may change or end future offers without reducing legitimately issued credits. Redeemed credits do not expire. We may remove credits obtained through fraud, repeated accounts used to evade an offer limit, or other violation of the disclosed offer rules, after a reasonable review. Contact us if you think a correction is mistaken. This does not permit confiscating unrelated purchased credits.

We may change prices and packs for future purchases. Changes do not reduce existing balances or increase the credit cost of the services already purchased with those balances. If we discontinue a paid feature and cannot provide an equivalent service you accept, we refund the unused purchased credits affected.

11. Account deletion, suspension, and service closure

You may request account deletion in Settings or by emailing info@cachetcareers.com. Export information you want to keep first. Deletion ends access to your account, resumes, and reports. When your account closes, we calculate and promptly initiate a refund of your unused purchased credits using the calculation in Section 7. You do not need to submit a separate refund request. Refunds may be processed manually, and the time for funds to appear depends on the payment provider and your bank. Promotional credits are removed without a cash payment. Account deletion does not waive a refund or other legal right. We may retain limited records needed to complete a refund, meet legal obligations, or resolve a dispute as explained in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or end access for a material breach of these Terms, fraud, security threats, or legal requirements. Where reasonably practicable, we explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue. Urgent action may be necessary to protect users or the Service. Suspension or termination does not automatically forfeit legitimate unused purchased credits. We refund those credits upon closure, subject to reasonable verification and avoiding duplicate reimbursement of payments already reversed. If we permanently close the Service, we will notify users where practicable and refund unused purchased credits.

12. Availability and warranties

Cachet is an early-access service. Features and scoring methods may evolve, and interruptions may occur. Subject to our specific commitments in these Terms and rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. These statements do not override our refund obligations or excuse a service that fails to meet an enforceable description or legal requirement.

13. Limits on liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ULULALA, Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including lost employment opportunities or lost income. This exclusion does not limit refunds expressly promised here or liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or anything that cannot lawfully be limited. It does not eliminate nonwaivable consumer rights. No aggregate monetary liability cap is imposed by this version of the Terms.

14. Changes, governing law, and contact

We will post updated Terms with their effective date and provide reasonable advance notice of material changes by email or an in-product notice, except where an urgent legal or security reason requires a faster change. Changes apply prospectively and do not remove accrued refund rights or reduce the value of existing purchased credits. Where affirmative acceptance is needed, we will request it before the changed terms apply.

Washington law governs these Terms, except that mandatory consumer protections applicable where you live remain available. Nothing here requires arbitration, waives participation in a class action, or restricts a right to bring a claim in a court that otherwise has jurisdiction. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent lawful. For notices, questions, billing help, or privacy requests, contact ULULALA, Inc. at info@cachetcareers.com.
