Cachet Careers Terms of Service

Effective: October 12, 2026

Cachet Careers is operated by ULULALA, Inc. ("Cachet," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms govern your use of Cachet Careers, including resume reports, Cici coaching, subscriptions, credit purchases, and promotional reports. Questions may be sent to info@cachetcareers.com.

1. Agreement and eligibility

By affirmatively accepting these Terms when creating an account, requesting a report, starting a subscription, or purchasing credits, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not submit content or use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old and a United States resident. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information; accepting these Terms does not enroll you in optional research, public sharing, or marketing.

2. What the Service provides

Cachet compares your resume with a job description and helps you identify and describe relevant experience. Cici uses AI to ask questions about gaps and suggest resume edits based on your answers. The Service is for your personal career preparation. It is not an employer's hiring decision, an employment agency placement service, or an employer's applicant tracking system.

Scores reflect Cachet's assessment of the information provided under its scoring method. They are not a probability of being hired or a certification of your qualifications. A potential score is an estimate that depends on truthful supporting experience and the scoring method; it is not a promised result. Job listings may change or become unavailable, and you should verify them with the employer.

3. AI output and your responsibilities

Reports and suggestions are generated with AI and may contain errors, omissions, or bias. A report is not necessarily reviewed by a person before delivery. Review the output carefully, verify facts, and use your own judgment before applying for a job. Do not add invented skills, credentials, employment, dates, accomplishments, or metrics to a resume. Cachet does not guarantee interviews, offers, employment, salary increases, or any particular score.

4. Accounts and permitted use

Keep your account credentials secure, provide accurate account information, and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize. Do not upload another person's personal information without permission, submit material you lack the right to use, misuse promotional offers, bypass access or payment controls, or interfere with the Service or its security.

Do not use Cachet to rank, screen, or make hiring or other employment decisions about other people. Employer-facing use requires a separate agreement and compliance assessment. Do not submit Social Security numbers, payment card numbers, government identification documents, or unnecessary sensitive personal information in resumes, coaching answers, or support messages.

5. Your content and our service materials

You retain any ownership rights you have in material you submit. You give us a limited, nonexclusive license to host, copy, transmit to our service providers, process, and display that material as needed to deliver, maintain, and secure the services you request. This does not transfer ownership of a third party's job posting or other material to you or to us.

We do not sell your resume content or use it to train AI models without your separate, explicit permission. Optional research and public sharing require the separate permissions described in our Privacy Policy. Cachet's software, branding, and service materials remain ours or our licensors'. You may use the resume suggestions and reports generated for you for your personal career preparation and applications; AI output may not be unique and may not qualify for intellectual property protection.

6. Buying and using credits

Credits pay for features in the Service. Grading a resume against one job description costs 1 credit. Rewrite Mode costs 3 credits for a guided Cici interview that produces suggested resume edits. Loading 25 additional jobs costs 1 credit; that credit is returned if no new jobs are found. Re-grading costs 1 credit after the included first free re-grade. Auto-mode grading costs 1 credit per resume graded. Other actions may also require credits. Before you confirm an action, we show its credit cost; for an auto-mode batch, we show the number of resumes and the total credit cost before you authorize the batch. These charges remain subject to the protections for existing purchased credits in Section 10.

Credit packs are one-time purchases in US dollars. They are not subscriptions, do not renew automatically, and do not authorize future purchases. The checkout page shows the pack, price, and total before you pay. ULULALA, Inc. is the seller. Stripe processes payments through hosted Checkout; we do not receive or store your full payment card number. By confirming a purchase, you authorize the charge displayed at checkout.

The credit packs on sale and their prices are shown before you buy. Once subscription plans are on sale to everyone, the one credit pack we offer is five credits for $7.99 USD, a one-time purchase that does not require a subscription and does not renew automatically. Previously purchased credits remain valid when we remove or replace a credit pack. Removing an offer does not remove existing balances.

Customers with an active subscription may purchase additional credits for $0.75 USD each, with a minimum purchase of five credits for $3.75 USD. Each top-up is a separate, one-time purchase and does not change your subscription's renewal date or authorize automatic top-ups. Top-ups are available only while your subscription is active. The protected top-up rate for eligible start-up subscribers is described in Section 7.

Credits do not expire, and we do not charge inactivity fees. This applies to subscription plan credits, top-up credits, credit pack credits, and legitimately issued promotional credits. Credits are for use in your own Cachet account, cannot be sold or transferred, and are not a bank deposit or general-purpose payment product. We use promotional credits first, then credit pack and top-up credits, and then subscription plan credits.

7. Subscriptions, start-up pricing, and plan changes

Subscriptions and billing. We offer two start-up monthly subscription plans: $9.99 USD for 10 credits per paid monthly billing period, and $19.99 USD for 30 credits per paid monthly billing period. Subscription plans are being introduced and may not yet be offered on every account.

Your subscription renews automatically each month until canceled. By subscribing, you authorize ULULALA, Inc., through Stripe, to charge your selected payment method for the amount disclosed at checkout and for subsequent monthly renewals under these Terms. We add plan credits only after the corresponding payment succeeds. Checkout shows your selected plan, billing frequency, and amount due before you authorize payment.

You can cancel future renewals at any time through Billing. Cancel before the next renewal charge to avoid that charge. We stop future renewals when your cancellation request is completed, and your subscription benefits continue until the end of the current paid billing period. We send a confirmation showing the effective end date. If you cannot access Billing, contact info@cachetcareers.com for cancellation assistance.

Canceling a subscription does not delete your account or remove credits already issued. You may continue using those credits without an active subscription, subject to these Terms.

If a renewal payment fails, we notify you and may retry the payment during a recovery period of approximately one week. No credits are issued for an unpaid renewal. If payment remains unsuccessful at the end of that period, we cancel the subscription and void the unpaid renewal invoice. Previously paid credits remain available. A payment failure does not itself erase your existing balance. Top-ups are available only while your subscription is active.

Start-up pricing. If you enroll in an eligible start-up plan, we will keep that plan's monthly price and your $0.75 USD per-credit top-up rate unchanged while your eligible subscription continues without interruption.

You may switch between the two start-up plans without losing this protection. The monthly price becomes $9.99 USD for the 10-credit plan or $19.99 USD for the 30-credit plan, depending on your selection.

Price protection ends when your subscription actually ends, including after cancellation or unsuccessful payment recovery, or when you voluntarily switch to a newer plan outside the start-up plans. We disclose any loss of price protection before you confirm a plan change. Scheduling a cancellation does not end price protection before the subscription's effective end date. If you subscribe again after your subscription ends, the prices and offers available at that time apply.

We may introduce new plans and change prices for new customers and future purchases that are not covered by this protection. Those changes do not override an existing subscriber's protected start-up rates. This promise covers the specified subscription price and top-up rate. It does not promise that every future offer, promotion, or different plan will be more expensive. We will not use a forced plan migration, a reduction in included credits, or a change in these Terms to evade this price protection.

Plan changes. When you upgrade from the $9.99 plan to the $19.99 plan, we charge the $10.00 USD difference and add 20 credits after payment succeeds. Your existing credits remain available, and your monthly renewal date stays the same. At your next renewal, you are charged $19.99 USD and receive 30 credits. The upgrade charge purchases the additional 20 nonexpiring credits. It is not prorated based on the number of days remaining in the billing period. We show the charge, credits added, next renewal date, and next renewal amount before you confirm.

A downgrade takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period. At the next renewal, we charge the lower plan price and add the lower plan's credit allowance. Existing credits remain available. Switching between the two start-up plans preserves start-up price protection.

8. All sales are final, and failed actions

All sales are final. Subscription payments, top-ups and credit packs are nonrefundable, and canceling a subscription does not refund the current payment or any earlier payment. Credits you have already bought stay in your account and do not expire. This does not limit remedies the law gives you. We will correct a duplicate or unauthorized charge, and the existing remedy that returns credits for an action that failed stays. We may, at our discretion, issue a refund or credit in a particular case; that does not create a right to future refunds. To ask about a charge, email info@cachetcareers.com.

A purchase made before October 12, 2026, the day these Terms took effect, keeps the refund terms it was made under, on request by email; a purchase made on or after that day is final.

Completed actions. A lower-than-expected score or lack of an interview does not, by itself, establish that an action failed. This does not limit remedies for a defective or misdescribed service or other rights provided by law.

Failed actions. If a technical failure in our Service prevents delivery of a grade or rewrite after credits are deducted, we restore the credits used. Failed grading actions are designed to trigger automatic restoration. If credits are not restored, including after a failed rewrite, contact us so we can correct the balance. A single failed action receives one restoration; you do not lose your remedy because an automatic correction fails.

Duplicate or missing purchases. We refund an unintended duplicate charge. If payment succeeds but the purchased credits do not arrive, contact us; we will deliver the missing credits or refund the affected purchase. We do not require you to accept additional credits instead of a money refund that is due.

Asking for help. Email info@cachetcareers.com. Include your account email, purchase date, and receipt or transaction reference if available. Do not send your full card number or security code. Please contact us promptly so we can investigate. We aim to respond within a few business days. This is not a deadline for exercising your rights. A money refund we issue normally goes to the original payment method; processing time depends on the payment provider and your bank. If that method is unavailable, we will work with you on a lawful alternative.

9. Payment disputes

You are welcome to contact us before disputing a charge, but you do not have to do so and should not miss your bank's deadlines. While a payment is disputed, we may temporarily restrict use of the credits associated with that payment to avoid duplicate reimbursement. We will explain any restriction and how to contact us. We will not restrict unrelated paid credits or access to privacy requests solely because you dispute a charge. If the dispute resolves in our favor, we restore any remaining eligible restricted credits. If the payment is reversed, the corresponding credits are removed. We do not charge a penalty merely for raising a good-faith dispute.

10. Promotions and changes to credit offers

Free starter credits, promotional credits, and redeem codes may have eligibility rules and redemption limits disclosed with the offer. We may change or end future offers without reducing legitimately issued credits. Redeemed credits do not expire. We may remove credits obtained through fraud, repeated accounts used to evade an offer limit, or other violation of the disclosed offer rules, after a reasonable review. Contact us if you think a correction is mistaken. This does not permit confiscating unrelated purchased credits.

We may change prices and packs for future purchases. Changes do not reduce existing balances or increase the credit cost of the services already purchased with those balances. If we discontinue a paid feature and cannot provide an equivalent service you accept, we refund the unused purchased credits affected.

11. Account deletion, suspension, and service closure

Subscription cancellation stops future renewals but keeps your account and existing credits available. You may request account deletion in Settings or by emailing info@cachetcareers.com. Export information you want to keep first. Deletion ends access to your account, resumes, and reports. Account deletion ends any subscription at once and removes any remaining credits; nothing is refunded. Account deletion does not waive a legal right. We may retain limited records needed to meet legal obligations or resolve a dispute as explained in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or end access for a material breach of these Terms, fraud, security threats, or legal requirements. Where reasonably practicable, we explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue. Urgent action may be necessary to protect users or the Service. Suspension or termination does not automatically forfeit legitimate unused purchased credits. We may remove improperly obtained promotional credits and credits associated with reversed or unpaid transactions. An allegation of abuse does not by itself permit confiscating unrelated paid credits. If we permanently close the Service, we will notify users where practicable, stop future renewals, and refund unused paid credits.

12. Availability and warranties

Cachet is an early-access service. Features and scoring methods may evolve, and interruptions may occur. Subject to our specific commitments in these Terms and rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. These statements do not override our refund obligations or excuse a service that fails to meet an enforceable description or legal requirement.

13. Limits on liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ULULALA, Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including lost employment opportunities or lost income. This exclusion does not limit refunds expressly promised here or liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or anything that cannot lawfully be limited. It does not eliminate nonwaivable consumer rights. Our warranty disclaimers and limits on liability do not reduce our express obligations concerning existing credit balances or protected start-up pricing. No aggregate monetary liability cap is imposed by this version of the Terms.

14. Changes, governing law, and contact

We will post updated Terms with their effective date and provide reasonable advance notice of material changes by email or an in-product notice, except where an urgent legal or security reason requires a faster change. Changes apply prospectively and do not remove accrued refund rights or reduce the value of existing purchased credits. Changes to these Terms do not retroactively reduce existing paid-credit balances, accrued refund rights, or protected start-up pricing. Where affirmative acceptance is needed, we will request it before the changed terms apply.

Washington law governs these Terms, except that mandatory consumer protections applicable where you live remain available. Nothing here requires arbitration, waives participation in a class action, or restricts a right to bring a claim in a court that otherwise has jurisdiction. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent lawful. For notices, questions, billing help, or privacy requests, contact ULULALA, Inc. at info@cachetcareers.com.
